The only event of its kind in the U.S., the Conference on Poverty and Basic Needs promotes idea sharing, increases awareness and subject expertise, and provides truly unique networking opportunities for basic needs bank leaders and professionals from academia and research, business, government, marketing and media, technology and nonprofit support.

The conference features more than 50 speakers and panelists who bring subject expertise, innovation, and inspiration to the more than 300 member organizations of NDBN and Alliance for Period Supplies. The three day event hosts keynote speakers and provides a platform for members themselves; expert lectures, including main plenaries and insightful panel discussions; contests and social events; a unique off-site evening dinner experience hosted by NDBN’s founding sponsor Huggies; member scholarships and advising for first-time attendees; and workshops on topics ranging from new tools and technologies to research-proven, practical tips for basic needs bank best practices, advocacy, and equity.
